junagraphy: Day 05 — Your favorite quote The photo has one of my favorite quotes “Those voices in your head don’t waste their time talking to just anybody,” (thanks Sandy), and I have a whole boatload of favorite quotes, but I think one I’ve followed closely all these years is this one by Richard Quitevis aka DJ Qbert’s mom: “Follow your dreams and never stop others from dreaming.”  This quote is also featured in my biography on my website. There are endless quotes on “following your greatest ambitions,” which I’m all about, but I appreciated that Qbert’s mom was no fool and didn’t forget to mention the aspirations of others. On your journey, while it’s important to do whatever you have to get to your goals, you have to remember you’re not alone- everyone else has their own goals and destinations, and it wouldn’t hurt to help them or even journey together. I like to value the people in my life. Work hard and be kind.  Which reminds me, I just started up a new tumblr with a few of my friends (streetlevel, gojira, thecolonel05) where we post quotes and stuff us and our friends say, quotecollective.
